The Associate of Arts Degree is awarded by University of Arkansas Rich Mountain to students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution in order to complete a teaching baccalaureate degree.

AAT will be awarded when the student meets the basic skills requirement (Praxis Core, ACT, SAT, or equivalent measures) for the receiving four-year institution. Students should check with their transfer institution for admission requirements into the institution’s teaching program.

The College Catalog/Student Handbook has more details about this degree.
