Associate of Science Agriculture
The Associate of Science in Agriculture is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to complete the baccalaureate degree. The purpose is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to enable them to succeed in a professional life in agriculture.
After completion of the AS Agriculture, the student will be able to:
- Students will increase their writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills.
- Students will increase their competency in mathematics, utilizing their analytical and occupational skills to solve real-life problems.
- Students will increase their understanding of different cultures and societies across the globe and how both have changed over time.
- Students will increase their understanding of basic principles and their application in the field of physical sciences and biological sciences.
- Students will increase their technological and research skills.
- Students will increase their agriculture sciences, financial management, and business skills.
