SGA meets once a month during the fall and spring semesters. If you would like to receive information about SGA events email us.

SGA plans and organizes events for student life on campus at UA Rich Mountain. Some of the events for the past year included Welcome Back Lunches, Halloween community night, concerts, lunch N learns, Finals Lunches, theme games, cookouts, and more.

Not only does SGA plan events on campus, these student leaders learn valuable skills organizing, planning, and negotiating entertain and/or venues for each event. SGA officers are also given an opportunity to attend special conferences to help them gain these skills needed for planning and hosting events.

The SGA shall serve as the student governance vehicle for UA-Rich Mountain. The SGA shall represent, lead and, unify the student body; aid the college in its large purposes of education; make recommendations concerning student issues to the UA-Rich Mountain administration; act as a means of preserving and attaining the well-being of the college community; encouraging enthusiastic school support.

Upcoming SGA Events

March All Month – Celebrate Diversity Month.  Support flyers all over campus.

April 6 – Big Money Bingo 6 to 8 p.m. on front lawn.  Subway sandwiches, cookies, drinks, and awesome prizes.

April 12 – Arkansas Blood Institute “Bloodmobile” will be on campus from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m..

April 19 thru 23 – Save AR Students week leading up to Arkansas Drug Take Back Day on April 24.

April 26 – End of semester “Spring Carnival”.  On the lawn in front of Maddox building.  11 am to 2 pm. Blow-ups, games, and food.
