SGA meets once a month during the fall and spring semesters. If you would like to receive information about SGA events email us.

SGA plans and organizes events for student life on campus at UA Rich Mountain. Some of the events for the past year included Welcome Back Lunches, Halloween community night, concerts, lunch N learns, Finals Lunches, theme games, cookouts, and more.

Not only does SGA plan events on campus, these student leaders learn valuable skills organizing, planning, and negotiating entertain and/or venues for each event. SGA officers are also given an opportunity to attend special conferences to help them gain these skills needed for planning and hosting events.

The SGA shall serve as the student governance vehicle for UA-Rich Mountain. The SGA shall represent, lead and, unify the student body; aid the college in its large purposes of education; make recommendations concerning student issues to the UA-Rich Mountain administration; act as a means of preserving and attaining the well-being of the college community; encouraging enthusiastic school support.

September 10 - Slip & Slide Water Sports from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Grass area behind Ouachita Center and Rack. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs served outside for evening meal.

September 15 - Constitution Day Trivia from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Inside the Ouachita Center. Snacks, Door Prizes, Extra Credit Possible

September 29 - DJ, Light Show, Glow Party from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Veranda on back of Ouachita Center. Glow Stick and Party Favors Provided

September 15 to October 15 - Hispanic Heritage Month
