Last year's recipient, Robert McIntyre (pictured above), is now in his junior year at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville having earned both an Academic All Star Scholarship and the Arkansas Academic Transfer Scholarship.

[February 7, 2022 | MENA, Ark.]  If you are a UARM student planning to continue your education at one of Arkansas’ public 4-year universities, you have the opportunity to apply for the Academic All-Star scholarship.  Recipients will receive scholarship opportunities from the participating Arkansas’ universities as well as a $500 scholarship for his/her final semester at UARM before transferring.

  •     Minimum eligibility qualifications include:
  •     Arkansas resident
  •     Currently enrolled at UARM and expected to be enrolled through at least Spring 2023
  •     Completed a minimum of 24 credit hours in pursuit of an associate degree by June 2022
  •     Intent to graduate from the UARM with an associate degree by Summer 2023
  •     Cumulative grade point average of 3.25 in all credit coursework completed at the nominating college.

Applications are available ONLINE. Completed packets must be submitted to Chancellor Dr. Phillip Wilson at 1100 College Drive, Mena, 71953 by 3:30 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
