UA Rich Mountain Foundation Receives Donation for American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship

On March 7, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 18 presented a donation to the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Foundation to provide an annual scholarship for $1,200. The scholarship priority award is to provide financial assistance to a Polk County student attending University of Arkansas Rich Mountain that is a female veteran or descendent of a veteran. Scholarship award is based on need and academic performance. The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 18 is comprised of women, or their descendants, of men who have served in the military during periods of war.
