What is a UA Rich Mountain Ambassador?
Student Ambassadors are student spokespersons for the college. Under the supervision of the Recruiter, the ambassadors will help with campus events, work in the admissions office, and attend recruitment activities off campus. An ambassador must have attended one of UA Rich Mountain’s seven service area schools (Acorn, Caddo Hills, Cossatot River, Mena, Mt. Ida, Oden, or Waldron) or be a nontraditional student. Home school graduates from Scott, Polk and Montgomery counties are also welcome to apply! Ambassadors will recruit future ambassadors to take their place after graduation. Ambassadors must excel in their academics, display campus pride, and possess great communication skills.
Meet Student Ambassador Tateli Thacker!

Tateli decided to become an Ambassador to help students in any way she can specially to help students feel comfortable at UA Rich Mountain and to feel welcome on campus. The reason Tateli chose to start her higher education here at UA Rich Mountain is because it gave her an opportunity to ease into the college experience while getting to live at home.
