Meet the Admission Staff

I began my educational journey at UA Rich Mountain. As I progressed in my educational pursuits, I never forgot the individualized personal attention I received at Rich Mountain. The Polk County Arkansas area is the perfect place for my family to enjoy the outdoors and serve our community. My purpose for completing my higher educational journey has always been to help and serve others as much as possible. I am proud I am in a position to help students navigate the complex and confusing world of higher education just like staff at Rich Mountain did for me.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Henderson State University in 1988.  After graduation, I went to work as a Park Ranger for Arkansas State Parks.  That career move eventually led me to Queen Wilhelmina State Park, here in Polk County.  While I did not pursue my teaching career, I did pursue my passion for teaching and leading others as an instructor for the United States Army Reserve, the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy, and as an Adjunct Instructor here at UARM.  After years of service in law enforcement, I decided to work as a recruiter at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain.  As a recruiter, I want to affect change through education.   I want to show people the opportunities that education can give them.
