UA Rich Mountain TV is a locally-produced, community-based television station broadcasting on channels 19 in Mena. Programs range from public service and information about local businesses, to school music and sporting events. We also cover local politics by interviewing candidates for office. Currently we are developing community-produced programs including news magazines and a cooking show. We also air telecourses than can be taken for credit at RMCC. The studio is located in the Maddox Building. The UA Rich Mountain TV schedule changes weekly according to community events. A new schedule of programs becomes available on the web weekly covering Thursday through Wednesday. Click the button below for the latest schedule. (It may take a few minutes to load)
KRMN-LP 88.9 FM is UA Rich Mountains's 500-watt non-commercial educational FM station operated by students and community volunteers as part of the media programs. The radio station went on the air in February of 2004 as a low power station and became a full power station in February of 2010. An eclectic mix of easy listening music is the programming template which also provides an opportunity for student or other special interest music programming.
The goals of the radio program are threefold:
Additional programming includes the old time radio programs of Lum and Abner, two of Mena's native sons. Opportunities abound in both the radio and TV program and are limited only by the imagination of the student.
