“I am so proud to be associated with UA Rich Mountain and the TRIO programs! As I began college as a first generation student, I had no idea of what to do, where to go, or if aid was even available. What a scary adventure! Thankfully the people of the Ouachita Mountain region can receive assistance with the “admission paperwork and applying for financial aid” process here at their local college. I am very proud of our students as they graduate and move on with their career or enter a four-year institution!”, stated Berry.
In addition to her position responsibilities, Jeanette has served on a number of TRiO regional and state boards, UA Rich Mountain committees, and involved in community organizations. Her prior and current experiences include: South West Association of Student Assistance Programs (SWASAP) Representative and President-Elect for Arkansas Association of Student Assistance Programs (AASAP); Secretary, Graduate of SWASAP Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI), and assisting instructor for SWASAP ELI; President of the UA Rich Mountain Professional Association, and served in numerous roles and capacities for Ninth Street Ministries and First Baptist Church, where she is an active member.
