UA Rich Mountain PTK Hosts Hunt for Literacy

On Friday, April 7th the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society hosted the Hunt for Literacy event on the UA Rich Mountain campus in Mena. The UA Rich Mountain PTK members provided goody bags, which included a book, coloring book, crayons, and pencils to over 120 preschool children who attended the fun and educationally enriching event.

The event included an egg hunt, art activity, and story time provided by PTK members. After the event, Mena Schools’ preschool students and their staff had sack lunches on the campus before returning to school.
